2021: The OG Championship
The inaugural ALGS in 2021 had a mind-blowing pool of Sh 335,460,000 and saw Japan’s SCARZ take the crown. Their trio—Mande, Taisheen and RPR—blew the roof off expectations. Taisheen even shared the Apex Predator Award with Fire Beaver’s Danilla. Over in NA, Kungarna NA snagged Sh 34,494,807 while Cloud 9 pocketed Sh 17,264,375 for their runner-up finish.
Down in APAC South, Wolfpack Arctic surprised everyone with a Sh 8,853,300 haul. In South America, Paradox Esports topped the charts with Sh 5,450,000, followed by Fenix I at Sh 2,725,000 and Dynamics at Sh 1,558,000.
2022 ALGS Championship: Road to Glory
The 2022 Finals ran from July 7–10 in a three-stage format. Forty teams fought through group and bracket stages for a Sh 259,600,000 prize pool. The champs walked away with Sh 64,900,000; second place took Sh 38,940,000; third got Sh 25,960,000; and the Apex Predator for most eliminations pocketed Sh 389,400.
