World of Tanks is a multiplayer battle game crafted by Belarusian developer Wargaming. It kicked off alpha testing in April 2009 with just six vehicles, and on 12/04/2011 it officially rolled out in North America and Europe. Kenyan gamers from Nairobi to Mombasa now dive in on gaming PCs, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Poa! Let's check out the betting odds.
Gameplay
In World of Tanks, you pick a self-propelled artillery piece or an armored tank and control its movements and firing. Sound strategies—like angling armor, using cover, and mastering shell ricochets—decide winners. Chat via voice or text to coordinate team battles and plan assault tactics.
The main difference in the World of Tanks game mode is the battle rules, but core mechanics—camouflage, module damage, and personal damage—stay the same.
Key modes include:
- Tank-company battles
- Team battles
- Team-training battles
- Stronghold battles
- Random battles (up to 15 per side)
- Special battles

Vehicles
Boasting over 600 armored vehicles across 11 nations, World of Tanks categorises them into five types: light, medium, heavy tanks, tank destroyers, and self-propelled artillery. Each nation’s tech tree spans tier I to X, and you unlock higher tiers as you rack up XP. Premium vehicles are available for KSh or in-game credits, offering a shwari way to boost your arsenal.
Customize turrets, engines, and camouflage—choose between historical patterns or game-specific skins to stand out on the battlefield.
World of Tanks Blitz
Wargaming dropped World of Tanks Blitz on 15/05/2013 for mobile skirmishes on Windows, iOS, and Android. Matches are shorter, with up to seven players per team—perfect for on-the-go betting via your favourite esports betting app.
